Birth Years for 2022 - 2023 Season: 2006 through 2012 (10U-16U)
2022 - 2023 Season Cost: $1400 for the travel program (other optional tournaments are not included)
Ice Time Per Week (on average):1-2 (60 min.) practices. Practices are normally on the weeknights, but some weekend practices will be scheduled where possible.
Description:Evaluations for Travel, Tournament teams are held in the spring. Players who tried out for and made the travel team will participate in the Southern Youth Travel Hockey League (http://sythl.goalline.ca/) in the A1/A2 (also known as B) league. Travel teams play 5-6 weekends of 4 games per weekend.
Practices will be held at the Pensacola Bay Center starting in October and continuing through March. Prior to October practices will be held at other rink locations according to availability and will requires some travel. Practices are usually held twice a week with the possibility of occasional weekend ice time. However, the practice schedule is subject to the ice availability at the Pensacola Bay Center. Practices consist of skills, drills and scrimmage games.
This is a season-long commitment to attend practices and out-of-town practices & games.
The 2022-2023 season fees are $1400 for travel team players. This includes NFHL membership fees, SYTHL fees and approximately 35-40 practices. Players will be required to purchase the uniform package for $155, which consists of two Pensacola Jr. Ice Flyers jerseys, socks (dark and light) and one shell. Individual uniform items are available for purchase as players progress through the levels.
Season fees can be paid in full at the time of registration or through a payment plan. Payment plan payments are due on the 1st of each month with full payment being due by Dec 1st. After the initial payment, any monthly installment not paid by the 10th of the month will be assessed a $25 late fee. Players will be restricted from ice time and/or game play until the account is current.
