House League
House age groups are for players who want to develop their skills but cannot commit to several tournaments and the financial extras it brings. Priorities are sportsmanship, skill development, team play through scrimmages and hockey strategy.
Ages
We have House programs from 6U - 16U when numbers allow. Age groups may be combined when numbers are low.

Our season runs from October - March.

Practices
Practices will be held at the Pensacola Bay Center and are usually 2 (60 min.) practices a week with the possibility of occasional weekend ice time. However, the practice schedule is subject to the ice availability at the Pensacola Bay Center. Practices consist of skills, drills and scrimmage games.
Games
House tournament teams: consist of 12-15 skaters plus a goalie and are chosen by the coach according to availability and skill level. House tournament teams plan to attend up to two tournaments per year within the Southeast region when available at each age group. Each tournament typically includes four competitive games.
Friendlies: These weekend games are with other organizations within the surrounding area (Jacksonville, Lafayette, Biloxi) may also be scheduled throughout the season.
Jerseys
A Pensacola Junior Ice Flyers uniform package will be available to order during registration. The uniform package consists of 2 jerseys (light & dark), 2 sets of socks (light and dark) and a matching shell.
Costs
House league fees includes NFHL membership fees and ice fees for approximately 35-40 practices (amount is subject to ice availability and is not guaranteed). Season fees can be paid in full at the time of registration or through a payment plan. Payment plan payments are due on the 1st of each month. After the initial payment, there is a 10-day grace period, after that time a $25 late fee will be automatically charged to your account/card on file. Players will be restricted from ice time until the account is current.
Extra Costs
ADDITIONAL UNIFORM ITEMS: Additional uniform pieces are available to order during registration.
TOURNAMENT FEES: The tournament fees are in addition to registration and are determined by the cost of the tournament and the number of players attending. Any travel or hotels will also be the players responsibility.
USA HOCKEY
All skaters/players and coaches must be registered with USA Hockey is not refundable.

Do House players get to play any games?
Each year coaches will form tournament teams when skill and numbers allow. Coaches will reach out to area teams to arrange Friendlies when schedules and ice time availability allow. Outside tournaments will be scheduled if available for each age group and numbers allow.
